Have u seen my helmet?

one-eyed-dragon:

“YOU’RE A DAMN PiRATE AiNT THAT YOUR THiNG! ‘ND You’re the only one around here to know its fuckin’ worth!” Masamune was being over overexert again go figure.

“AND YOU’RE A DAMN DRAGON, BUT YOU DON’T SEE ME ACCUSIN’ YOU OF LIGHTIN’ SHIT ON FIRE." Here we go again with the "you’re a pirate, so of course you stole my shit” business. Motochika was getting heavily annoyed.

“If I knew what that bucket was worth, why the hell would I be tryin’ to help you find it in the first place?!”

Have u seen my helmet?

one-eyed-dragon:

“Che… yeah the last time I had it—” Wait a minute, it had to be him. In fact he was so certain of this that he dropped all logic that may have pointed otherwise.

“Don’t be an idiot with me, I damn well remember you saying that last time! And you fuckin’ did.” Masamune was getting angry now.

image

image

“Wait just a damn minute here! I have no idea what the hell yer’ talkin’ about!” Really, he didn’t. At least, he thought he didn’t. This may have seemed familiar, but now that he was suddenly being accused of something, that didn’t matter.

“I haven’t seen yer’ damn helmet anywhere. This is the first time you’ve ever asked about it.” Of course, Motochika was getting equally angry.

Have u seen my helmet?

one-eyed-dragon:

“Tch.” He clicks his tongue looking away, “You’re telling me. I went off back when the storm and earthquake hit. Never thought I’d lose that shit.

Something familiar seemed wrapped around this question, his answer. Then in that moment he had a deja vu—but much stronger then that. Like he knew it had happened, had literally happened, “Hold on—Didn’t I ask you that before?

His eyebrows furrowed from the small headache, and the fact that he suddenly felt like the other was lying.

image

image

“Uh… I don’t recall ya’ askin’ me about your missing helmet before. Unless this ain’t yer’ first time losin’ it…?” Yeah, he had no idea what Masamune was going on about.

But come to think of it… there was something oddly familiar about this situation–too familiar in fact.

He rubbed his chin, ignoring that thought entirely, as he contemplated the whereabouts of the Dragon’s missing heirloom. “Did ya’ backtrack yet? Where did you leave yer’ helmet last?”

Have u seen my helmet?

one-eyed-dragon:

With the bad storm and earthquake having hit Arcadios, the place around them seemed still pretty bad. Then not to mention the earth around them had switched to another thing entirely.

Something Masamune oddly found familiar in but in the end, things changed back and here he was.

Wondering where the fuck his helmet was.

image

And then he happened to come across a certain purple pirate, waving the other over he hoped to find some information on it. Considering it was a prized possession, “Oi, Chousokabe. You wouldn’t happen ta have seen my damn helmet. Would ya?

And he was just minding his own business, trying to find something to occupy his time as there’s nothing to do. If he had some materials–he wished he had some materials–he’d probably be building something silly right about now.

Unfortunately, he has none, and as the pirate was scavenging, a waving Dragon caught his eye. So, he went right on over to see what the bugger wanted.

Oi, Chousokabe. You wouldn’t happen ta have seen my damn helmet. Would ya?

“Eh? Yer’ helmet? M'fraid not. Ain’t like ya’ to lose something precious to you, Dokuganryu.”

shadowfaerie:

This world was not meant for someone like Celty - or rather, it would have been provided she had not modernized herself to fit in to present day Japan. As it was, she felt sorely out of place in such an environment — and ended up leaving Shooter behind whenever she went out searching. It was a lonely existence - barely knowing anyone and not even able to keep her companion with her. Shoulders lifted themselves into a sighing gesture, legs stretching as she sat upon the knoll.

It was during moments like these that she pondered what became of the others. So far the only person she had seen was the informant who had also been her employer previously — and honestly, she questioned why the Goddess saved him out of all people. Why not Shizuo or…

image

A sense of profound loneliness filled her and she shook it off quickly - attempting to distract herself by taking notice of her surroundings for once. It was then that she noticed the oddly dressed man walking in her direction. He appeared either lost - or searching for someone. A hand raised to gather his attention, typing up a sentence for him in greeting.

You appear as though you have misplaced something - is this true? |

Where, oh where, could that parrot have gone?

Motochika had almost given up on this quest of his. It felt like he’d been searching for days – but in actuality, it was a measly half an hour; that would be his fault, for being somewhat dilatory with his movements. Still, there wasn’t a single trace of his missing buddy anywhere, and those rotten, negative possibilities began to flood his thoughts.

A long, irritated exhale left the pirate as he staggered along, that single blue taking in his surroundings. He whistled, he called, but there was no sign of his friend. Where the hell could have he gone to anyway? Nothing was here, nothing to keep the bird’s attention – maybe he was looking for help, maybe.

It was with a few steps more that Motochika took notice of a figure in the distance, so he squinted his eye, hoping to gain a better glimpse. Hm, no such luck. Without even thinking, he advanced further in that direction, keeping his eye out for that parrot of his as he moved along.

image

“Oi, oi!” He called out once he was close enough, giving a friendly wave of his hand, though he blinked twice, expressing his confusion from the sight before him. It seemed to be a woman… a woman, with an odd gadget in her hand. “–Uh.. what’s this?” Motochika leaned forward, reading what appeared on that tiny thing of a screen.

You appear as though you have misplaced something - is this true? |

“You… appear as though have misplaced something…” He repeated as he read. “Ah! Aye, I have misplaced something! Ya’ wouldn’t have happened to see my buddy flyin’ around here?” Motochika asked, as if the woman knew exactly who he was talking about. “The bugger and I got separated and I can’t find hide nor feather of ‘im.”

one-eyed-dragon:

Masamune cracked a smile, finding his joke rather hilarious. It was true, japan was filled with a load of greedy fools. Though, he couldn’t exempt himself considering he was after all of Japan himself.

“‘Course I am, I wouldn’t leave my little buddy behind. I’ll keep lookin’ for him if I have to.”

“I guess I can’t blame ya’.” Masamune would search the whole damn world for his horse. Because there just wasn’t anything like the one he rode, “Well I aint going to go searching for him with you, that’d take forever. But if I spot him while I’m out, I’ll be sure to tell ya.”

image

“HAH! I ain’t that lost. I know my way around this damn place, but from the looks of it. You seem like the kind of person to wander off and not be seen for a few days. All ‘cause you get lost.” The samurai shakes his head, finding the thought amusing at least.

“‘Preciate it.” Motochika replied, somewhat thankful to have an extra eye out for his lost buddy. In fact, two eyes were better than one…

“HAH! I ain’t that lost. I know my way around this damn place, but from the looks of it. You seem like the kind of person to wander off and not be seen for a few days. All ‘cause you get lost.”

Unfortunately, the Dragon was correct–he had a terrible sense of direction, but that never stopped him. Somehow he always found his way to either his destination or his starting point. Though before Motochika could get in a word in, a familiar, name-calling squawk caught his ear, and he found himself extending an arm.

image

Sharp talons hugged his forearm, sea-tipped wings once spread folded neatly against their owner, and another squawk of “Motochika” left that beak. The pirate’s face beamed happily, as he was now reunited with his friend.

“Where the hell have you been?! Ya’ had me worried!” All that left the parrot in response was a continence of calling his master’s name, but Motochika acted like he understood. “Alright, alright. I forgive ya’, but no wanderin’ off without tellin’ me next time.”

And just like that, due to their little reunion, Motochika had forgotten Masamune was there.

If it wasn’t obvious, I ain’t as active as I should be around here. I’ve been pretty busy and such.

But, if any of you bumpkins want to start a thread with me, don’t hesitate to ask. M'always open to ideas and role-playin’ with new people.

I just hope you can forgive the delayed replies, ‘cause depending on what I’m doin’, I might not get to it for a bit.

one-eyed-dragon:

Masamune clicks his tongue, his own horse responding to this. Ears twitching, whole body moving right to left. Slightly anxious to continue forward but it was obvious his master was in the middle of having a conversation. The woes of being mother fucking motorhorse, “Well I’ll tell you now, this place is way far from home. Hell it ain’t even Japan.”

image

Masamune slides off his horse, shuffling the armor on his hips to let him feel more comfortable. His horse had reigns however, he just never used them unless moments like these where he held them tight in his hand. So that the horse wouldn’t wander to far off.

“Oi, ya’ wouldn’t have happened to see my parrot flyin’ around? I lost track of the little guy.”

“Eh, you seriously looking for the damn parrot at a time like this? IN a place like this? It’ll take you days just to walk around the area. The forests around here are fuckin’ thick and huge.” Masamune snickers in disbelief, this guy sure was something else. Wandering around looking for his parrot, “How long have you been in this place? Seen Saika or the others—Do you even know the hell is going on? Cuz I sure as hell fuckin’ don’t.”

“I kind of figured that one. This place doesn’t really scream "greedy, war crazed landlubbers” if ya’ ask me.“ If anything, it didn’t make a whole lot of sense, being in an unfamiliar place that Motochika had no memory of why or how he ended up here. It didn’t settle right in his gut, but he was confident he’d find the answers eventually.

“Eh, you seriously looking for the damn parrot at a time like this? IN a place like this? It’ll take you days just to walk around the area. The forests around here are fuckin’ thick and huge.”

A good, hearty chuckle left him. ”‘Course I am, I wouldn’t leave my little buddy behind. I’ll keep lookin’ for him if I have to.“ He meant it, too. Although his men weren’t present, his parrot companion was all he had, and he’d be damned if he left him behind in a place like this.

"But I haven’t seen hide nor hair of the other bumpkins. Yer’ really the only one I’ve crossed paths with. M'just as lost as you are, mate.” It wouldn’t be the first time.

one-eyed-dragon:

Meanwhile, Masamune had found out his companion had ended up with him as well. The horse had been bound to another stable, to which Masamune completely raged and in the end got his horse back… Without having had broken down the stable in the process, but regardless. That was nothing to the bull shit he was causing gallivanting about the village with Itsuki earlier that day.

With the horse more then ready for a joy ride, he figured that’d be his next thing to do. Ride around to each place, check out the vast forestry that seemed to span out far out from where his one eye could see. ‘Nd maybe stop himself for a party here and there.

The horse let out a quick neigh, approving of his masters sudden actions. Hitching his body onto its back, burying his heels into the side of its body sending it suddenly lurching forward. Then he was off, speeding into the forest and for a while he didn’t relax his horse into a canter until—wait what the fuck is some 6foot purple bastard standing around looking like—wait hold up.

Suddenly the horse zoomed right by but then managed to slide some ways past him to a hault.

image

“Oi! Well lookey here if it aint the fuckin’ devil of the western seas in the flesh. Aren’t ya quiet a ways from the ocean?” Well it seemed to be him for the most part, not like anyone else was sporting purple and walking around with their chest bear.

And Motochika’s just trailing along, looking high and low for his little buddy. Usually, after a few calls, he’d appear, yet the parrotless pirate had no such luck. It wasn’t like the ole’ Demon of the Western Seas to immediately jump to the negative possibilities, but he was certainly starting to worry. That’s enough of that, though. He won’t think, or even make an attempt to think about those sort of possibilities. For now, he’s on a mission, and he damn well better not finish it empty handed.

Every nook and cranny: that’s about an accurate estimation of how much he looked. No tree went unchecked, no rock went unturned, but after the third rock, Motochika’s starting to wonder why the hell Kaiki would be under one in the first place. ‘Focus, Aniki, focus. We’re dealing with a damn parrot here.’ An inner thought.

He’s just about to call it a day, though. Maybe he’ll have better luck tomorrow, or maybe he just arrived at this god forsaken place before his friend did. Now those are some positive possibilities he’ll keep in mind.

As he’s about to turn, something whisks past him pretty darn fast and definitely startles him to a degree. He wasn’t thinking about keeping his guard up while on his search, but he might have a little hint of regret there now. Though, a familiar voice caught his ear, a bit too familiar, and it brought a grin to his lips.

image

“And if it ain’t Oushuu’s damn One-Eyed Dragon! Never thought I’d see ya’ here of all places.” Once his lone blue sets its actual focus on the figure, he was kind of relieved that his quick assumption was correct. “But yer’ right, I haven’t been this far away from home ever since that hulky ape decided to screw things up for me.” Ah, that brought back some memories, but a sudden idea hits him. “Oi, ya’ wouldn’t have happened to see my parrot flyin’ around? I lost track of the little guy.”

[ So…

He’s been here before apparently. At least, that’s his bad case of deja vu talking. He can’t put his finger on it… but he’s pretty damn sure that he has been here.

Although, at this point, there’s no sense in contemplating about it, since his head is starting to hurt; thinking isn’t one of his strong points. Can ya’ tell?

Instead, to keep himself occupied, he’s looking around for his missing-in-action companion, Kaiki. Now where the hell could that little bugger have gone to? ]
