The shock of hearing his name called out, when he had thought himself alone, gave him the strange tingling jumpy sensation of having jumped out of his skin. Immediately, he turned on the stool he had settled on as he was mid-strip, and nearly fell over.
“M-Motochika!” he called out, and hoped that he did not seem at unease. “It is good to see you! It has been—a while, has it not?”
Quite a while, he thought. In fact, the last time the two had spoken was when…that subject had been broached. That embarrassing subject, which Ieyasu hoped would not come to light again.
That they had to meet again in a bathhouse! Ieyasu wondered at his fate.
“Ah! I figured it was you.” So, it was Ieyasu after all. This would definitely be interesting and Motochika was fully aware of that… especially since their last encounter was quite the embarrassing one.
“And here I thought I was alone!” the pirate exclaimed, plopping down on the stool next to Ieyasu’s. No one was there, it wasn’t like he had to ask if the seat was taken.
“It’s good t'see ya’ too, though!” But of all places? It couldn’t be that bad, right? They were both guys, there was nothing to hide! If anything, this was the best place to have a reunion, at least that’s what Motochika convinced himself. “Plannin’ on relaxin’ too, eh? I hope you don’t mind if I join ya’?”
Yukimura simply pursed his lips, unsure how to even respond to this. He did hope it would be over quickly. Might be over already?
He opened his eyes a sliver.
No… no it wasn’t over. He clamped his eyes shut again simply… standing there awkwardly with his eyes closed and lips pursed.
Goodness, when would the distance be closed? Ieyasu felt his nerves prick, and in a rush, he brought himself to go further—and was quickly rewarded with something that felt like skin against his lips.
Instantly, he backed away, and his hands went to his mouth in reflex. So that was what it felt like to kiss someone!
