…That was uncalled for. Nevertheless, I’ll say what I need to before the subject is changed again. I have been traversing the city, and though I have not learned much, I have discovered ways to uncover more. That was why I suggested you find some employment— you would stand a far better chance in conversing with others than I. The lowly peasants of this city know far more than they let on, Chousokabe. They are the key. You must assist me in turning the key in order to open the lock.
I have been making maps, as well. They are highly detailed— they, of course, put any others the city has to offer to shame. I have decided to offer these to others; it would be beneficial to have some favours on hand, should we need them.
So you’ve been keepin’ busy durin’ my absence? That’s good– at least you had somethin’ t'do to pass the time.
I’ll be takin’ yer’ suggestion into consideration, though. Obtainin’ a job to score some information is an excellent idea, at least I hope it proves useful in the long run. However… that isn’t exactly tellin’ me whatcha’ heard from yer’ own endeavors?
As for the maps, m'gonna need one as well. I hope ya’ don’t mind~?
I do not recall forcing your compliance. I broke no rule of boundary, if there is such a thing. I, for one, am attempting to discover a way to leave this place; I had planned on sharing with you some of what I have learned. Your business, which also pertains to this goal, would not otherwise be anything I would concern myself with.
All right, all right– I get it. Let’s quit yammerin’, then; I’ll amuse ya’ by apologizin’. Forgive my brash and brutish behavior, Mouri. The day we arrived here, we both agreed to work t'gether, to find a way out of this place and I haven’t gone back on my word since then. So what is it that you’ve learned?
…Hmph. Your memory needs some work, Chousokabe— I merely offered a suggestion, and you proceeded to turn against me for it.
A suggestion that wasn’t any of yer’ business to suggest. Maybe you should think about buddin’ into someone else’s business before openin’ that snooty mouth of yers.
Perhaps it would be in your best interest to find yourself a new hobby. I am not a source of entertainment to be accessed anytime you are bored or unhappy.
I could very well say the same thing t'you. Or is it just a hobby yers? T'pester me until ya’ set off an already shortened fuse?
Of course you would. You have nothing better to do than to prattle about in my face.
I won’t deny that– considerin’ I’m havin’ no such lack findin’ the sea I’ve been searchin’ for. What better way t'make myself feel better than to pester the great Mouri Motonari?
